In the opinion of
Paraashara and Kashyap Rishi, the construction of walls and pillars should
start from the South East corner.
The translator of Brihat
Samhitaa, M. R. Bhat, however, opines that the construction work should be
started from North East. Most of the well-known authorities, however, prefer
South-East for start of the construction.
