Vastu Remedies: Shanku Sthapana
As stated in Muhuurata
Maartanda placement of Shanku is considered auspicious at the beginning of
construction of building. A Shanku is made of wood from Khaira, Arjuna, Saala,
Yugapatra, Raktachandana, Palaasha, Raktashaalaki, Laalaja, Neem, Karanja,
Kuntaja, Venu, Bilava.
At the beginning of
construction Shanku is required to be placed at the naval location of Vaastu
purusha as shown in the diagram, Shape of Shanku shall be as directed in the
sketch above.
